F.A.Q’s

Booking Information:

How can I make a reservation with your services?

To make a reservation, kindly reach out to us through email or by utilising the booking form provided above.

Do you offer a dog collection service from my home?

For the convenience of our clients, we offer dog collection services within proximity to our headquarters or near our regular parks. In instances where a dog resides outside our catchment area, we may consider drop-offs at our Highgate address by arrangement.

Dog Walking Details:

Are you equipped to walk and care for puppies?

We gladly cater to the needs of puppies, employing our extensive experience in their care. Our services include the use of puppy carriers and long leads, ensuring appropriate exercise levels in nearby parks.

My dog is prone to anxiety and behavioural issues. How do you handle such cases to ensure a good fit with your services?

We have a lot of experience with dogs that have behavioural issues (especially with rescue dogs) and we will be happy to meet your dog and have a potential trial day to see if we are a good fit for them and that they will mesh well with our group.

Are you insured to cover any unforeseen incidents during walks?

Yes. We are fully covered with the Pet Plan. For a full copy of our insurance, please speak to us.

My dog requires a muzzle or needs to stay on a lead. Can you accommodate these requirements?

No problem! Just let us know when enquiring and we will be happy to see if our set-up suits their needs.

Communication and Updates:

How can I stay informed about my dog's activities throughout the day?

We update our Instagram story regularly throughout the day every walk so you will see where your dog is having fun and what they are up to!

Do you use any specific transportation methods for dogs?

Weather and Safety Concerns:

Do you continue to walk dogs in extreme weather conditions, such as heat or cold, and how do you ensure the safety of dogs during adverse weather?

We are very careful with changes in weather, and will always take precautions to ensure our dogs are safe. In extremely hot weather we will start the walks early to avoid the midday sun and stick to sensible, shaded routes. If it is too unsafe to walk your dog we can leave their walk for that day but we will provide toilet breaks, local green visits or indoor enrichment instead if required. We take water on our walks and may reduce walking time if concerned the dogs may struggle.

Additional Inquiries:

What parks or locations do you typically take the dogs to for their walks?

Our operations are centred in North London, where we meticulously curate walks in a diverse selection of parks to offer our canine companions a range of environments. Among the parks featured in our rotation are Highgate Woods, Fryent Country Park, Stanmore Park, and The Welsh Harp. These carefully chosen locations contribute to the variety and quality of experiences we provide for the dogs in our care.

Are there specific measures in place for transporting dogs, and can you provide details about the process?

We operate with a fleet comprising two vehicles dedicated to transporting dogs to and from our pack walks. Our primary vehicle, a van, is equipped with six custom stainless steel crates, ensuring individualised spaces for each dog and a fan system for temperature control, particularly beneficial during warmer summer months. Additionally, our secondary vehicle, a car, is equipped with collapsible travel crates, enhancing safety measures during transit. These purposeful accommodations underscore our commitment to the well-being and safety of the dogs in our care.

Business Operations:

When are you closed during the year, including any scheduled breaks or holidays?

As part of our annual schedule, we observe brief closures two to three times a year. One closure spans a week in the summer, while the holiday season prompts closures lasting two to three weeks around Christmas. We prioritise transparency and ensure our valued customers receive timely notifications well in advance of these planned closures.

Can you share any new or unique aspects of your services that set you apart from others in the industry?

As an independent, family-run business, we take pride in our ability to uphold exceptional standards of care for the dogs entrusted to us. Our commitment is to treat our clients' dogs with the same level of love and attention that we extend to our own canine companions.
